Grote e-Pepp GROTE RELEASES ITS NEW ELECTRIC PEPPAMATIC (e-Pepp)
e-Pepp Model 1515e

The e-Pepp

In 1972, pizza maker Jim Grote revolutionized the frozen pizza industry with the world's first slicer/applicator, the Peppamatic. With its innovative slicing and applying technology, the Peppamatic dramatically cut labor costs while increasing productivity.

Grote has recently enhanced this industry-proven slicer with the following design upgrades:

  • All electric, state of the art design featuring servo tube linear technology
  • Open frame, stainless steel construction for greatly enhanced cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance
  • Up to 25% increase in throughput capacity
  • Dimensionally interchangeable (footprint) with many older hydraulic Peppamatic models

Company Vice President Bob Grote is excited about the evolution of the Peppamatic. "We are very pleased with the initial market response to our new e-Pepp. The open frame design and simple, efficient drive system have got the attention of many of our customers. We can now offer them a significant improvement in throughput and with our "drop-in" design, there is no need for extensive line reconfiguration. The e-Pepp is a worthy successor to the machine that created the category - the Peppamatic".

Grote unveiled the new electric Peppamatic at the 2005 AMI Convention in Chicago. It has also been featured in several industry trade journals, including Meat Processing and Snackfood and Wholesale Bakery. For more information on the e-Pepp, call us at 888-534-7683.
