Roll Cutter & Buttering Applicator: Hinge-Cut Whole Rolls and Sub Buns
Grote’s Roll Cutter and Buttering System is designed to convey whole roll or sub products at preset speeds and cut them to adjustable depth and height dimensions. In addition, the unit opens the hinged bread 180 degrees with cut surfaces facing up, preparing each face for application from the optional buttering unit & conditioner/pump. The buttering unit automatically coats the top surface of each bread slice, creating a moisture barrier between bread and sandwich ingredients for optimum sandwich quality and shelf life. Even when buttering is not required, the Roll Cutter sets the production pace for a sandwich assembly line, and the hinge cutting action prepares each roll/sub bun for downstream topping application, either manual or automatic.
