Grote Company Showcases its Expanded Family of Slicing Equipment at IPPE /AMI 2015 in Atlanta

Grote Company featured two new advancements to one of its most popular slicing systems, the 613-VS2 Multislicer, at IPPE/AMI 2015.

Grote’s 613-VS2-Log End Slicer, designed specifically to slice product log ends discarded from high speed deli meat log slicers, can produce usable, high quality slices from log end transition pieces that would otherwise require rework or manual slicing. This unique slicer can be configured for 1 or 2 lane slicing operations, includes a standard auto-load conveyor system for continuous feed, and can be programmed for bulk, stack/shingle, and auto-eject modes. Grote also showcased its 613-VS2 Multislicer with integrated paper interleaving & stacking capabilities from Packaging Progressions, Inc (PPI).

Combined with PPI’s new ProLeaver® 2, Grote’s 613-VS2 Multislicer now offers small and mid-sized processors a compact and affordable system to automatically interleave slices and underleave sliced portions in two lanes. The new ProLeaver® 2 cuts paper up to 13” wide from economical rollstock and precisely dispenses it directly under the sliced product. Add the PPI ProStax™ stacker and create interleaved or underleaved stacked portions ready for final packaging.

PACK EXPO, November 2-5, Chicago McCormick Place, Grote Company featured newly expanded capabilities for one of its most versatile slicing platforms, the 613-VS2 Multislicer. Now available with an optional pass-through targeting conveyor, this compact and capable system provides bakers and other food manufacturers the ability to slice and apply a wide range of products directly onto baking trays and drying screens up to 13” wide. Grote company proudly announces the introduction of its new sauce applicator

Grote is pleased to announce the introduction of its new Sauce Applicator. This simple yet rugged system deposits border-free sauce patterns onto both flat and raised-edge style crusts across a wide range of viscosities and consistencies with precise control.  Changing sauce inserts to accommodate various crust patterns takes only minutes to accomplish, and additional sauce heads and pumps are easily added to accommodate multiple lane applications. For pizza sauces with chunky ingredients, the Sauce Applicator can be fitted with a rotary-actuated valve for depositing sauce particulates up to 3/8” (9.5mm). With patterns from 3″ – 16″ (76.2mm – 406.4mm) and deposit accuracies within +/- .07 oz (2g), we’ve got you covered.
