Grote Company Manufactures 613 Multislicer #500!

Columbus, Ohio, November 11, 2010 – Grote Company celebrated a significant milestone on November 11, 2010, when it completed manufacturing of its 500th Model 613 Multislicer.
First introduced to the market in 1996, the 613 Multislicer has been sold globally in over 30 countries worldwide, and it continues to be one of the most popular and versatile industrial slicers on the market today. Few other slicers manufactured by Grote have achieved this level of popularity in the 40 year history of the company.
Grote Company celebrated the milestone with a ribbon cutting and company ceremony on the assembly floor. At the ceremony, founder Jim Grote and President Bob Grote addressed the company and thanked everyone on the Grote Company team for their contributions to this historical accomplishment.

U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., September 30, 2010 — For the third consecutive year, J.E. Grote Co., Inc. has been selected for the 2010 Best of Columbus Award in the Food Product Equipment category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Nationwide, only 1 in 120 (less than 1%) 2010 Award recipients qualified as three-time Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2010 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.
