Products > Slicing & Application Equipment![]() Grote Slicer/Applicators combine slicing and application into a single, automated operation. Product slices are placed directly onto a moving target such as a bun, pizza crust, tray, or oven belt. Production rates are adjustable, up to 176 strokes per minute, multiplied by the number of lanes being sliced. Slicer/Applicators are also capable of bulk slicing, stacking, and shingling into portions. Maximum slice rate in slice and shingle mode is 120 strokes per minute. Most boneless/non-frozen meat, fish, poultry, cheeses, bread products, fruits, and vegetables can be sliced. The product logs may be inserted continuously while the machine is in operation. The logs are gravity fed through the product holder tubes and are sliced by Grote's patented Accuband® system. Accuband® produces optimal slice quality and yields. Most functions of the Slicer/Applicator can be controlled with the user-friendly touch screen. Slice arrangement, slice count, slice spacing, and blade lubrication may all be adjusted in an instant with this easy to use touch screen. Cleaning and sanitation are easy. Guards are designed for easily accessing all parts of the slicer. The perforated pulleys allow sanitation behind the pulley area. In addition, many parts, such as the product holders and blade guide, can be removed for thorough cleaning. ![]()
